Rebekah is an Academic Assistant in the School of Divinity at Cairn University where she completed a B.S. in Biblical Studies in 2009. In 2011, she graduated from University of St Andrews with an MLitt in Theology, Imagination and the Arts and since then has spent her free time working on a book of poetry which celebrates bodily existence, Doxology of Flesh, and reading about first-century Roman religion and divine representation. Rebekah has a deep interest in critical biblical scholarship, philosophies of education, ancient Near Eastern religion and the poetry of T.S. Eliot and Wendell Berry. She enjoys writing poetry, essays, fiction and creative non-fiction, and hopes to become a teacher of Biblical Studies and influential writer.
